Description

Our client is a Stretch Tent Manufacturing company based in Cape Town. They are looking for an Administrator/Bookkeeper to join their team.

Duties

Finance:

Full booking function to Trail Balance including all SARS Returns etc ( vat Audits).
Cash book control, reconciliation, and filing management.
Management of payroll and wages systems including calculation of all staff wages and commissions (manual systems included)
Petty Cash control
Invoicing and statements
Debtors and Creditors reconciliations and weekly payments
Data entry
Assist with Quotes and Invoicing.
General admin duties:

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Stock recon.
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication, such as:
Management and organisation of all incoming emails and directors email accounts

Other Ad hoc administrative duties as requested.
Requirements

Bookkeeping qualification/certification, alternatively 4 years working experience in a similar role.
Experience with accounting software (XERO)
Excellent knowledge of working on Excell.
Strong and eager work ethic.
