Job Description:

 

Our client is actively recruiting for a Buyer / Administrator to join them in East London. Main purpose of the job: Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.

 

Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing. Process requisitions and update company management on status of orders.

 

Coordinate with raw materials store controller and company management to ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels. Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

 

Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and company management. Assist with month end stock counts in the raw materials store, as required by the raw materials store controller Assist with processing of daily stock transfers when needed
