A vacancy exists for a Catering Storeman at Life Wilgers Hospital reporting to the Catering Manager.

Critical Outputs

Stock control of all stock in Kitchen
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
Adhering to all hygiene and safety standards
Issuing stock to catering staff and ward hostesses
Stock taking on a daily basis
Controlling stock in the FIFO (first in first out) method

Requirements

Minimum qualification – Grade 12
Must have at least 3 years experience in a stock controlling environment.
Candidate must have reliable transport
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Candidate must be able to work shifts and weekends
