Well-established and growing manufacturer of high-quality ink seeks to employ a Chemical Engineer to be responsible for leading and implementing process improvement initiatives, troubleshooting process issues, and providing technical expertise to ensure controlled and efficient production processes.

For the position you would be required to have:

B. Eng/ B. Sc in Chemical Engineering
Around 8 years’ experience as a Chemical Engineer in a production environment
Expertise in process optimization, troubleshooting, and process improvement in a production setting
Ability to scale-up on production process
Experience with process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and process monitoring techniques.
Responsibilities would include you to:

Provide technical expertise in process design, equipment selection, process control and implementation of process modifications or upgrades to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to production processes, equipment, and systems, utilizing root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality, to drive continuous improvement, address production challenges, and implement best practices.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation and provide training to production personnel as needed.
