Too old to drive — BUT not too old to teach - Fluent in Zulu.

A large transport company based in Pinetown is seeking a retired Code 14 driver to train heavy-duty truck drivers.

Requirements:

Retired Code 14 (EC) driver

Fluent in isiZulu

Aged 65 years or older and officially retired

Previous long-distance experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers

Fit and healthy

Available Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Role Responsibilities:

Train and mentor heavy-duty drivers

Reduce diesel consumption

Improve vehicle care and maintenance awareness

Promote safe driving practices and accident prevention

Improve overall professionalism of drivers

Package:

R12,000 – R14,000 per month (all-inclusive)

Full training provided to the right candidate

This role is ideal for a retired driver looking to supplement retirement income while sharing valuable experience and helping develop safer, more professional drivers.
