Job Description:

• The release of Body components (such as Metal parts, Seals, Glass, Bumpers, etc.)
• Co-ordination of testing and release of components and systems, locally and at source
• The resolution of design related problems on Body components
• Maintaining and updating the BOM (Bill of Material) system
• Cost analysis of various components, systems and projects
• Cost saving (PKO) initiation and investigations
• Project management on new or changed systems and components
• Good network in development and production
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics, Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years proven relevant experience with automotive components
• Technical knowledge of Body components
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office tools)
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge on reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Know how parts are fitted together (Metal to metal and Plastic to metal)
• Understand how to set up and manage development funding
• German language knowledge, or willingness to learn
