Chef with minimum 2 Years experience in the kitchen is needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The

position requires a person with excellent leadership qualities must have know

how in leading people,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Able

increasing staff productivity, maintaining and creating kitchen processes that

increase efficiency and productivity,

 

 

 

keeping

a hygienic working environment and ensure health and safety standards are kept.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A

person who is able to adapt easily and measure their own performance as well

the team around them

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Good

communication skills and ability to relate to all staff within the restaurant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The

Person must be able to work in all areas of the kitchen,

 

 

 

hot

kitchen,

 

 

 

cold

section,

 

 

 

and

pastry –

 

 

 

overall

good knowledge of the kitchen is needed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The

person must be able to do stock takes: daily, weekly and monthly.

 

 

 

Have

knowledge of how to use prep sheets, as well as daily stock checks

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Must

have passion for food and food preparation,

 

 

 

an innovative mind and able to work well

independently/not supervised.
