Tanna’s Early Childhood Development Centre, a Christian-based early learning centre situated in Durbanville, Cape Town, is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Assistant ECD Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis from 1 February 2026.

We are looking for a professional who genuinely loves working with young children and who is committed to supporting their emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

ECD Qualification: Level 1, 4 or 5 OR N4, N5 or N6 in Early Childhood Development
1–2 years’ minimum experience in an ECD environment
Police clearance (advantageous)
Valid First Aid Certificate (preferred)

Able to take initiative while also remaining flexible and responsive to management
Patient, reliable, and deeply passionate about children

As part of our commitment to uplifting and investing in our local community, preference will be given to applicants who reside in Durbanville and the surrounding Northern Suburbs. An own vehicle would be beneficial, although this is not a strict requirement.

This position offers an entry-level salary, based on qualifications and experience.
