Description

A pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Ekurhuleni has a vacancy for an ENGINEERING
TECHNICIAN (Mechanical). The applicant must be a Trade Tested Fitter &
Turner

JOB FUNCTION

To perform skilled mechanical maintenance and repairs and maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing
Practice) and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) compliance
standards.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 Years’ Experience overall in a pharmaceutical manufacturing production plant

The candidate will be required to work shifts, alternating every week: one week day
shift then one week night shift

Experience in maintaining the following manufacturing machines:

Tablet compression machines (essential)

Encapsulation machines(essential)

Coating machines

Granulation equipment

Experience with maintaining the following packaging equipment:

Rotary fillers/Piston Fillers/Sachet fillers

Blister machines (Rotary and flatbed type)

Labellers and Cartoners

Salary negotiable up to R30k pm. Shift allowance is paid. Benefits include medical aid
and pension.
