MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

To strategically direct and oversee the implementation of best

practice Seda Corporate Support Services functions namely, Human

Resources Management and Development, Corporate

Communications & Marketing, and the operational management of

facilities services to enable the achievement of various business

units and Seda strategic objectives.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

 

❖ Participate in the development and implementation of Seda

strategy and resourcing of strategic objectives in a sustainable

manner.

❖ Develop and oversee implementation of sound Seda Corporate

Services strategy, policies, guidelines, and business plan.

❖ Oversee the provision of Human Resources Management and

Development services.

❖ Oversee the provision of Corporate Communication and

Marketing services.

❖ Oversee the provision of Facilities Management services.

❖ Assure the embedding of risk, compliance and audit practices

all the Divisions processes and systems.

❖ Manage the Divisions resources (people, finance and assets).

 

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

 

❖ Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7),

Honours (NQF Level 8) in Business related discipline such as

Business Management/Business Administration/Human

Resources Management plus a Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9).

 

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

 

❖ 10+ years of hands-on experience in a Corporate Support

Services and human resources administration environment of

which 5 years’ experience in Senior Management role.

❖ Able to demonstrate:

❖ Knowledge and experience in Corporate Support Services such

as Human Resources Management and Development, Corporate

Communications & Marketing, and the operational management

of Facilities Services.

❖ Knowledge and experience of Stakeholder relationship

management.

❖ Knowledge of Strategy development, Planning and Monitoring

and Evaluation.

❖ Knowledge and experience in the application of legislation that

impact on Corporate Services functions such as Labour Relations

Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Occupational

Health and Safety Act.
