We are seeking an experienced Fire Detection and Gas Suppression Engineer to join our growing team. This is a client-facing role, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong technical background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client liaison — attending meetings, understanding requirements, and providing expert advice.

• Site visits — conducting surveys, assessments, and feasibility studies.

• System design — fire detection and gaseous suppression systems (e.g., FM200, Novec 1230, Inergen, CO2).

• Preparation of quotes, estimates, and detailed technical proposals.

• Collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

• Experience in fire detection and gas suppression systems will be an advantage.

• Strong technical understanding of relevant SANS standards.

• Excellent communication and client management skills.

• Ability to produce professional, detailed design documents and quotations.

• Driver’s licence.

• SAQCC, PSIRA and ECSA certification will be an advantage.
