Roles and Responsibilities:
a) Stock Management
b) Receive specifications for customer’s ink requirements
c) Organise inks for dispensers and press runs
d) Perform product quality control checks and ensure they meet customer and Flint
specifications.
e) Conform to Flint’s quality control procedure
f) Ink formulations
g) Production of colour swatches and LADs
h) Ensure products are identified and labelled
i) Issue and return of inks to and from the machines
j) Quality control documentation of ink issues and returns.
k) Ensure full traceability of inks manufactured and supplied to machines.
l) Technical support on the machines and minimizing any ink related downtime
m)Document all ink-related downtime
n) Complete print run reports, take wet samples and update history folders.
o) Monitor and report ink performance.
p) Perform quality control in the production runs to ensure ink meet the required
specification.
q) Assist in any ink requirements from the customer relating to job costing of ink,
measuring of ink gsm, testing of ink, etc.
r) Ensure equipment is calibrated
s) Maintain good housekeeping

Minimum Requirements:
•Grade: 12
• Essential Certificate / Diploma / Degree: Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Years’ Experience: 5 years
•Computer Literacy & Level: Microsoft Packaging, SAP system added advantage
