Job Description:
Our client, in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their East London team. Duties to include (amongst others):-
*Act as Communication Champion and ensure drive for a positive employee relations environment is maintained
*Adhere to and drive all BOS and other Logistics / Customs and Excise related legal procedures
*Support the Company Skills Programme and Equity Plan.
Minimum Requirements:-
*Logistics Diploma or CPIM (NQF Level 5)
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior position within a Logistics / Warehousing function *Knowledge of material flow systems (FIFO, Kanban, JIT, JTDS) and Integrated Management Systems
*Knowledge of Logistics policies and procedures and basic financial knowledge
*Advanced computer literacy skills
*Planning, organising and controlling skills
*Critical thinking and innovation skills
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Decision making/problem solving skills
*Conflict handling and dispute resolutions skills.
