A vacancy exists for a Pharmacy Porter at Life Robinson Hospital, reporting to Pharmacy Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation of prescriptions and stock to and from the wards as well as receiving and unpacking of stock from suppliers

Critical Outputs
A friendly attitude to all staff and customers
Collect and deliver prescription charts to and from wards
To receive and check stock against invoices including unpacking stock
Assist with receiving and unpacking of surgical stock from suppliers
Check expiry dates of all stock items systematically & perform stock rotation
Deliver correspondence to doctors and within the hospital when required
Participate in scheduled stock counts

Requirements

Grade 12
Experience in a hospital environment
Ability to function within a team and meet set goals
Ability to work under pressure
Good interpersonal skills
Time management skills
