An automotive component manufacturer in Port Elizabeth are looking for a bright young man to join them working in their product development office.

Essential qualities are:

• Formal engineering qualification (electrical, mechanical or robotics)

• Experience working on Outlook, Word, Excel

• Must be a team player

• Attention to detail

• Reliable and dependable

• Must have a valid code 8 license and own transport

Desirable qualities are:

• Experience working on Pastel, AUTOCAD, Fusion 360

• Experience working in a tool room

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assess new samples or drawings

• Source new components if required

• Create and upload of Models/Drawings

• Request new tooling if required

• Liaise with customers on new developments

• Create bill of materials, work instructions, material parts numbers, bill of processes

• Manufacture samples with productions input

• Create ISIR documentation

• Create IMDS only on request from customer.
