Job Description:
Our client is seeking a suitably-qualified Senior Forester to join their team, based in Ugie.
Duties to include (amongst others):-
*Budgeting and Budget control
*Good team player with good communication skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Extensive firefighting experience.
Minimum Requirements:-
*Diploma in Forestry minimum qualification
*B-Tech advantageous
*At least 10 years' experience as a Forester of which at least 2 of these must be at Senior Forester level
*Ability to manage teams to financial efficiencies
*Excellent people management skills
*Advanced fire management experience, silviculture team management experience
*Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
*Good time management skills
*Ability to plan, identify problems and come up with solutions.
