Location: Durban Area

RTE Security is looking for an experienced Senior Technician to join our team in the Durban area.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of alarm systems

(Texecom, IDS, Olarm)

Installation and servicing of gate motors

(Centurion, ET, DACE)

Working on intercom systems

Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems

Setup and support of PA systems

Installation and servicing of fire detection systems

Working on access control systems

Electric fence systems

Installation and maintenance of booms and turnstiles

Providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting

Ensuring all work meets company and industry standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a senior technician in the security industry

Strong technical knowledge across alarm, gate, CCTV, intercom, access control, and fire detection systems

Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently

Valid driver’s license (advantage)

Good communication and problem-solving skills
