A vacancy exists for a Stock Controller in Surgical Stores at Life Entabeni Hospital.

The successful candidate will report to the Inventory Manager and will contribute to the effective management of surgical stock in Surgical stores as well as the rest of the hospital.

Critical Outputs
Key areas of responsibility will include:

Managing key performance areas of the surgical stores department
Assist with the procurement, control and distribution of surgical stock
Ensuring accurate receiving and receipting of surgical stock
Handling all SAP-related processes and queries
Assisting in the consignment and prosthesis process
Implementing and maintaining the LHC formularies and cost-effective conversions
Active involvement in stock-takes and cycle counts
Managing the DNFB process
Dead stock and short dated stock management
Handling queries from relevant stakeholders

Requirements

Grade 12
Computer literacy is essential
A working knowledge of stock control is essential
Private hospital experience advantageous
SAP experience advantageous
Good organizational skills as well as attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
