About the role:

Logan Medical and Surgical (Pty) Ltd is a manufacturer and distributor of medical and surgical
supplies. We are seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to manage the
receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials critical to production.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records,
ensuring the timely supply of materials to the production line, and upholding
safety and quality standards. This role requires efficiency, accuracy and reliability.

The company is based in Cornubia and the vacancy is available immediately.

Duties and responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials.

Ensure proper storage conditions and segregation of materials based on type and safety requirements.

Maintain accurate inventory records.

Issue raw materials to production based on daily requirements and production schedules.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Monitor stock levels and alert procurement of low inventory thresholds.

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.

Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and access to stock records.

Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Supervising junior staff.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

Matric / Grade 12

1-2 years’ experience in a raw materials warehouse will be preferred;

Ability to work from heights and do physical lifting;

Forklift/Bendi certification will be advantageous;

Good verbal and written communication;

Attention to detail and ability to learn;

Ability to work in a team

Remuneration: Market related and based on experience
