A Tea Shop in Rivonia is looking for an Assistant.

Tea Talk is a welcoming shop that serves a variety of delicious beverages, including speciality teas, smoothies and more.

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Tea Baristas and Customer Service Specialists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tea and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of tea-based drinks and other beverages according to Tea Talk recipes and standards.

Provide outstanding customer service, includig greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions about our menu.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and work areas.

Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and informing management of low stock levels.

Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations during busy periods.

Stay informed about new tea trends and participate in ongoing training sessions to improve skils and knowedge.

Requirements:

Must be a South African Citizen

Previous experience in a similar role in a cafe or tea shop is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

A positve attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
