The Directorate of Library Information and Services has one-year fixed term contract position of
Training/Information Librarian at the Giyani campus
INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit together with the CVs, a fully completed
standardized application form available from the university intranet as well as recently certified
copies of qualifications and Identity Document. Failure to comply with this instruction will
disqualify the candidate. Candidates may be subjected to appropriate psychometric testing and

Kindly note that these positions are open exclusively to Limpopo Province residents
therefore, applicants primarily residing in the said Province will be given priority

• Knowledge of Endnote Reference Management tool

Minimum Requirements
• NQF Level 07
• A relevant 3/4-year qualification

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 360 credits
• A Higher/ Advanced Diploma with a minimum of 120 credits
OR
• 3 years relevant experience at Supervisory/Administrator/Junior practitioner level
• NQF Level 06
• 4 years relevant experience at Supervisory/ Administrator/ Junior Practitioner level

virtual presentation
