CCTV Company based in Edenvale is looking for an Experienced CCTV Technician

About the Position :
The Successful candidate should be an experienced Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience

Requirements:

Be a well-groomed, punctual and approachable individual with excellent people skills.
Be able to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Own vehicle
Have good time management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Install program, configure, commission, and maintain CCTV, Access Control, & Alarm Systems.
- Installation of wireless networks and system networks.
- Assemble and install access control panels, power supplies and cable pathways system.
- various cable that includes, but is not limited to, CAT cable and coax.

Qualifications

- Matric certificate or equivalent required.
- 2 years CCTV experience

Experience and knowledge with the following:

- Experience in reading and interpreting operational/product manuals.
- Experience with hand tools test equipment, multi-meter usage.
- Network experience.
- IP Camera systems.
- Analog camera systems.
- Access control systems.
- Alarm systems.

Abilities

Capable of performing physical labour to include carrying and moving heavy equipment and tools.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes
difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift
equipment working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
- Able to travel.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Ability to lead & work well with team members.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
- Clear criminal record.
- Drivers License.
- Reliable transport.
