About the Role

Wakaba and Partners attorneys are seeking a seasoned and highly capable Senior Associate / Attorney to join our litigation department in Randburg.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ post-admission experience, a strong litigation and labour background and excellent drafting skills. The candidate must be confident in managing litigation matters independently and comfortable appearing in both Magistrate’s and High Court.

Key Responsibilities

Manage general litigation matters end-to-end
Draft pleadings, legal opinions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court, consultations, mediations and arbitrations etc
Supervise junior legal staff
Maintain client relationships and uphold firm values

Requirements

LLB and admitted in South Africa
Minimum 8 years’ experience in litigation
Strong drafting and advocacy skills
Valid driver’s license and own transport (essential)
Ability to work independently under pressure
