A Haematology practice requires a medical officer for a tertiary level clinical environment

This is a full time job.

The requirements for the post are:
• Registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa as an independent medical practitioner
• Medical Protection society membership
• Current ATLS, APLS or PALS certificate
• Minimum of 2 years appropriate experience as Medical Officer
Duties:
• Be responsible for in-patient and outpatient general management of patients
• Ability to diagnose and manage medical emergencies
• Experienced with routine diagnostic procedures
Additional skills:
• Computer literacy in MS word and Excel
• Interact with medical aids for the successful approval of prescribed treatments
• Assisting in the billing of all procedures and professional work on patients attending the practice
