Description

We are looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Jakura Restaurant.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years experience as a Sushi Chef

Valid papers allowing you to work legally in South Africa (SA ID, work permit, or Asylum visa – no expired documents)

Valid contactable references (landline numbers only – no cellphone numbers)

Ready to start immediately

Strong sushi preparation and presentation skills

Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen

Good hygiene and food safety knowledge

Shift requirements (please read carefully):

Quiet periods: 1 day off per week + 5 double shifts + 1 half day

Busy periods: Only 1 day off per week (no half day)

What we offer:

Salary from R8,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and skill)
