QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

Credit Management Certification: Holding a credit management certification will be advantageous.

Advanced Excel skills are a requirement.

Experience with Solid will be advantageous.

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:

Experience in Credit Vetting: At least 2-3 years of experience in credit vetting, preferably within a financial or renewable energy industry.

Understanding of Renewable Energy Sector: Familiarity with the renewable energy landscape in South Africa, particularly regarding financing and credit practices.

Customer Service Background: Proven experience in handling customer queries related to financial transactions or banking details.

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze financial information and credit histories to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail when processing debit order mandates and resolving banking-related queries.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in handling complex financial transactions or discrepancies.

Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload.

Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges.

Knowledge of credit vetting and credit control processes and procedures.

Excellent computer literacy (MS Office).
