NYX is looking for a skilled and experienced Computer Technician to join our growing IT Store team based in Stanger / KwaDukuza.

Computer Technician

Employment Type: Casual Position (with potential for permanent employment)

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an IT store or similar environment
• Experience with desktop and laptop hardware repairs
• Software installation, troubleshooting, and formatting experience
• Printer troubleshooting and repair experience
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems and networking basics
• Ability to diagnose faults and provide technical solutions efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be reliable, honest, and well presented
• Valid driver’s license will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing laptops and desktop computers
• Installing and configuring software and operating systems
• Printer repairs and maintenance
• Hardware upgrades and replacements
• Assisting customers with technical support queries
• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

Salary:
• Market related and dependent on experience

Additional Information:

• 3-month probation period applies
• No training will be provided — applicant must have previous hands-on experience and be able to work independently
