Description

Kayma Signs is looking for an energetic, results-driven Sales Agent with specific experience in the signage and large-format printing industry.

This is not a "desk job." You will be the face of Kayma Signs, meeting clients on-site, conducting site surveys, and providing expert advice on the best branding solutions. You must understand the difference between substrates (PVC, Chromadek, Acrylic) and be able to translate a client’s vision into a technical brief for our production team.

Requirements

✔ Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in signage, outdoor advertising, or corporate branding sales.

✔ Technical Literacy: Ability to read floor plans and perform accurate on-site measurements.

✔ Material Expertise: Strong understanding of signage substrates, vinyl types, and finishing options (e.g., lamination, 3D fabrication).

✔ Driver’s License: Valid license and reliable vehicle are essential for site visits and client meetings.

✔ Software: Basic proficiency in CorelDRAW or Illustrator (to view/tweak client files) and CRM/quoting software.

✔ Communication: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to new business opportunities in the Durban area.

Site Surveys: Visit client locations to take precise measurements and assess installation requirements (height, surface type, visibility).

Quoting & Proposals: Generate accurate cost estimates based on material usage and labor.

Technical Liaison: Work closely with the design and production team to ensure client expectations match production capabilities.

Project Management: Follow up on jobs from the initial deposit through to successful installation and final payment.
