Securewise Solar & Electrical, is a provider of solar energy, backup power, home automation and smart security solutions in the Eastern Cape, is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician / Solar & Home Automation Technician to join our growing team.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Qualified Electrician with a valid Trade Test Certificate.
✔ Valid Wireman's Licence (advantageous).

✔ Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical installations and fault finding.

✔ Experience with solar PV systems, inverters and battery storage systems.

✔ Experience with home automation systems (Gate motors, CCTV, etc) and smart home technologies.

✔ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

✔ Valid Code 08 driver's licence.

✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

✔ Willingness to work overtime and attend occasional after-hours call-outs when required.

Experience Required:

Solar PV installations and commissioning.

Deye, Sunsynk, or similar inverter systems.

Battery storage systems.

Electrical fault finding and maintenance.
CCTV, Gate & Garage Door Motors systems.
Generator integration and automatic transfer systems advantageous.

COC testing and certification advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and commissioning of residential and commercial solar systems.

Installation and programming of home automation systems.

Electrical fault finding, repairs and maintenance.

Preparation of compliance documentation and commissioning reports.

Customer support and technical assistance.

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.
