Job Summary

Minimum Requirements
Matric or equivalent qualification
Hotel school qualification
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Hotel Receptionist within a busy hotel environment
Previous experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel preferred
Strong guest service and communication skills
Professional appearance and well-spoken manner
Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Strong administrative and multitasking abilities
Computer literate with hotel system experience
OPERA PMS experience will secure
South African ID
Guest Service & Front Desk Operations
Welcome guests professionally and create a positive first impression
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Handle guest queries, requests and complaints professionally
Ensure smooth daily front office operations during busy periods
Reservations & Administration
Assist with reservations, amendments and room allocations
Maintain accurate guest information and billing details
Process payments and daily reception administration
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and other departments

Operational Standards

Maintain professional front office presentation and service standards
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the guest journey
Follow hotel procedures and operational requirements accurately
Support the Front Office team in delivering excellent guest experiences
