We are seeking a professional, organised, and detail-oriented
Administrative Assistant to provide essential office support and
contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of our business. The
successful candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks,
communication, document management, and supporting management and staff
across various functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
Respond to emails and correspondence in a timely manner.
Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and suppliers.
Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendars as required.
Organise, maintain, and update filing systems and company records.
Prepare reports, letters, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
Assist with the preparation and administration of tender documents.
Monitor and manage office supplies, stationery, and consumables.
Provide administrative support to managers and staff with daily operational tasks.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and document control.
Assist with general office coordination and administrative projects.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Previous administrative experience will be advantageous.
Basic knowledge of office administration practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Email and Outlook systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Professional and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
Good computer literacy and administrative capabilities.
