Candidate Legal Practitioner Litigation Department

Meijer Attorneys, a boutique law firm based in Linden, Johannesburg, is recruiting a Candidate Legal Practitioner for our Litigation Department. This position is immediately available.

This is a two-year Practical Vocational Training Contract (PVTC) in terms of the Legal Practice Act 28 of 2014, providing exposure to litigation matters in their entirety, including drafting, client consultations, and court appearances across Gauteng.

Please note: this is a continuation of the candidate's legal training, not a conventional office position. Litigation and study commitments may extend beyond normal working hours.

Minimum requirements:

Completed LLB degree

Eligibility for registration as a candidate legal practitioner with the Legal Practice Council (LPC)

Strong work ethic and a genuine interest in developing litigation skills

Remuneration is in accordance with LPC-prescribed minimum thresholds.
