CONCRETE TECHNICIAN

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
Technical qualification in Concrete Technology, Engineering, or Production
Certificate in Concrete Technolo (advantageous)

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Ready-Mix plant, batching plant, or production environment
Strong technical knowledge of: Concrete batching processes, Mix design and moisture correction and Quality control and testing procedures.

Proficiency in using concrete testing equipment and software.

Proven experience as a Concrete Technician

Knowledge of concrete technology and materials science

Familiarity with industry standards and testing methods

Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Experience working within SANS standards and quality systems.

Experience with Batchman Batching Software

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Understanding of construction site safety practices

Driver’s License
