About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction
Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily site operations on residential and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
Manage and direct subcontractors, artisans, and general labourers.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with company standards.
Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Plan daily work activities and allocate labour and equipment effectively.
Order and monitor construction materials and ensure efficient use of resources.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, labour attendance, and material usage.
Identify and resolve site issues promptly while keeping management informed.
Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric).
Trade qualification or relevant construction qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Construction Foreman.
Proven experience supervising residential and/or commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Code B driver's licence.
Willingness to travel between project sites when required.
