Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QC Level 3 Inspector to join our team in the mining, construction, and steel fabrication industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading quality control activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements, while providing technical guidance to inspection personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform and oversee quality inspections on fabrication, construction, and mining-related projects.
* Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality documentation.
* Develop, implement, and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
* Lead investigations into quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Compile, review, and approve quality records, inspection reports, and project dossiers.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors during inspections and audits.
* Participate in internal and external audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

* Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Inspection, Quality Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a QC Inspector within mining, construction, and/or steel fabrication environments.
* Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, structural steel, and quality control processes.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Excellent report writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

* CSWIP, AWS CWI, SAIW, or equivalent welding inspection certification.
* NDT certifications (VT, MT, PT, UT) advantageous.
* Experience working on large-scale mining, construction, or steel fabrication projects.
