Description

We are looking for an experienced Speed Queen Technician to join our team on a full-time basis in Cape Town.

The position will be subject to a 3-month probation period, after which permanent employment will be considered based on performance and suitability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on Speed Queen commercial laundry equipment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently
• Experience with commercial washing machines and dryers
• Good understanding of electrical systems and controls
• Valid driver’s licence
• Reliable, honest and punctual
• Professional manner when dealing with customers
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Duties:

• Servicing and maintaining Speed Queen equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out repairs and replacing components
• Installation and commissioning of equipment
• Preventative maintenance
• Customer call-outs and breakdowns
• Completing service reports and keeping accurate records
