A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse based at Life Riverfield Lodge Rehabilitation, reporting to Veronica Lolwana, Unit Manager. The purpose of this role is to conduct nursing activities to ensure quality patient care.

Critical Outputs
Conduct duties in accordance with quality patient care requirements, ensuring that all nursing activities comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislation, and Life Healthcare policies and procedures.
Maintain all health, safety, and infection prevention and control standards to ensure a safe patient environment.
Ensure optimal and efficient utilization of resources.
Ensure the safe and effective maintenance and management of equipment.
Promote a culture of quality and customer excellence.
Demonstrate integrity and professional conduct at all times.
Practice and adhere to all Infection Prevention and Control principles.
Comply with the company's legal and governance protocols, as well as clinical and quality auditing processes.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the scientific nursing process.

Build effective relationships with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and support business growth.

Requirements

Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse.
Current registration with SANC.
Ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital.
Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges, and key role players will be advantageous.
Computer proficiency will be advantageous.
