We are looking for an experienced National Operations
Manager to take ownership of a national road freight and distribution
operation.

This senior role will oversee multiple branches, lead Branch
Managers and drive service levels, operational performance, cost control and profitability.

The non-negotiables:

Senior management experience within the South African road
freight industry

Break-bulk and express distribution experience – essential

Experience managing multiple branches and large operational
teams

Strong knowledge of linehaul, warehousing, OTIF, KPIs and
vehicle utilisation

Experience controlling freight losses, damage, claims and
operational costs

Working knowledge of NBCRFLI and road freight compliance

Strong commercial, reporting and client-management skills

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally
