Description:

Duties:

Perform general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry and air-conditioning maintenance.
Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
Maintain swimming pools, plant equipment and lodge infrastructure.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, maintenance requests and urgent repairs.
Identify potential maintenance issues and take corrective action.
Assist with grounds maintenance and lodge improvement projects.
Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.

Requirements:

At least 23 years proven maintenance experience in a lodge or hotel environment, with lodge experience strongly preferred.
Good all-round knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, building maintenance and general repairs.
A valid drivers licence.
Sober habits, reliability and a professional approach.
Neat presentation and a friendly, considerate manner when interacting with guests.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and standby duties when required.
Currently based in the Hoedspruit area or willing to relocate.
A clear criminal record and contactable references.
