CLEANER & KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Alberton, Gauteng

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and well-organised individual to join our team. The ideal candidate must take pride in their work, follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Cleaning and maintaining a clean, neat and hygienic working environment.

* Following food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.

* Assisting with food preparation and cooking.

* Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.

* Handling basic kitchen administration and record-keeping.

* Purchasing ingredients, cleaning materials and other kitchen supplies.

* Monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages and ensuring proper storage of supplies.

* Keeping the kitchen organised and following health and safety procedures.

* Performing other general duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Matric certificate (Grade 12).

* Previous cleaning or kitchen experience will be an advantage.

* Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.

* Good communication and organisational skills.

* Honest, punctual, responsible and detail-oriented.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Willingness to assist with purchasing and stock control.

* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices will be an advantage.
