We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

The Air Conditioning Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems for the hotel and commercial properties in the hotel building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new air conditioning systems according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and repair any issues or malfunctions with air conditioning systems
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their air conditioning needs
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while performing job duties
• Ability to work under pressure situations and exercise good judgements.
• Ability to focus attention on details, speed and accuracy.
• Carry out specific oral and written instructions from the Maintenance Managers.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Maintains the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager & Assistant Maintenance Manager.
• Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing of knowledge and skills.
• Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required.
• Working shifts around weekend requirements

Requirements:

• N2 certificate with air conditioning & refrigeration trade theory.
• Completion of trade test
• Completed safe handling of refrigeration certificate

Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of air-conditioning systems. The focus is on optimizing energy efficiency, reducing operational costs, and ensuring system reliability for guests.
