RUMERATED SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY POSITION - FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Boston Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a Foundation Phase (Grade 2) Teacher. The applicant should have the following attributes and competencies:
- Professional teaching qualification: B.Ed or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized South African institution;
- Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English;
- CAPS trained and have a good knowledge of Curriculum planning and assessment;
- Must be able to use eLearning in the classroom;
- Knowledge of EGRA, Jolly Phonics, Greenshoots;
- Knowledge of learner profiling and SIAS process;
- Must be able to use one or more of the following media communication platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet;
- Willingness to participate in the Schools sport, culture and fund‐raising programmes and to work after hours and on weekends when required;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- The ability to teach in a diverse multi‐cultural environment;
- Punctual, proven track record of commitment to work duties;
- Must be able to assume duty on 11 January 2027.
