Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

We are looking for a reliable, responsible and hardworking Driver to join our team in Durban.

The ideal candidate must have excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to providing safe, efficient and professional transport services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely transport goods, equipment and/or personnel as required.
Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle.
Ensure compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.
Complete vehicle inspection checklists, trip sheets and delivery documentation.
Plan routes efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries.
Report accidents, incidents, traffic fines or vehicle-related issues.
Ensure goods are handled and secured properly during transportation.
Maintain professional conduct when interacting with clients and suppliers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Valid South African driver's licence (Code 10 or Code 14, depending on vehicle requirements).
Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP), where applicable.
Previous driving experience.
Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas.
Clean driving record.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Matric certificate will be an advantage.
