TO Pack is expanding into the Western Cape and is looking for an energetic, hands-on Sales Representative / Driver to help establish and grow our presence in Cape Town.
This is a unique dual-role position suited to someone who is comfortable generating new business, visiting customers and closing sales, while also assisting with deliveries and collections as we build our Cape Town customer base.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will initially act as TO Pack's sales and operational representative in Cape Town.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting and developing new customers throughout Cape Town and surrounding industrial areas
- Cold calling, arranging appointments and conducting customer visits
- Building relationships with procurement, operations, warehouse and business owners
- Identifying customers' packaging requirements and generating sales opportunities
- Following up on quotations and converting opportunities into orders
- Growing existing accounts through additional product lines
- Delivering customer orders when required
- Collecting stock from suppliers and transporters
- Delivering samples and attending urgent customer requirements
- Assisting with basic stock coordination and local operational requirements
- Providing regular sales activity, pipeline and customer feedback to management
- Representing TO Pack professionally in the Western Cape market
TO Pack supplies a broad range of industrial and commercial packaging products, including:
- Corrugated boxes and cartons
- Stretch film and pallet wrap
- Shrink film
- Plastic bags
- Bubble wrap
- Pallet and protective packaging
- Tapes and packaging consumables
- Custom packaging solutions
- General industrial packaging products
We want a self-motivated, street-smart and energetic individual who is willing to help build a business territory from the ground up.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have previous sales experience,in packaging, FMCG, industrial supplies, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing
- Be confident in cold calling and approaching new businesses
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be organised and able to manage both sales and deliveries
- Have good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding industrial areas
- Be physically capable of assisting with loading and offloading packaging products where necessary
- Have a valid driver's licence
- Have a professional and presentable manner
- Be target-driven and hungry to grow

REMUNERATION

Basic Salary (12500)+ Sales Commission (TBC)

Package will be based on experience and demonstrated sales ability.
