WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Samrand, Centurion | Gauteng

Light Market, a leading supplier of lighting, electrical and solar products, is seeking an experienced, highly organised and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our new Samrand Distribution Hub.

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing warehouse operations, maintaining stock accuracy, overseeing distribution and ensuring operational excellence across our growing business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage all daily warehouse and distribution operations.
- Oversee receiving, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Lead, supervise and manage warehouse staff.
- Ensure accurate stock management across all product categories.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory reconciliations.
- Manage interbranch stock transfers and nationwide order fulfilment.
- Implement and enforce warehouse procedures, systems and controls.
- Monitor staff productivity, operational efficiency and warehouse KPIs.
- Minimise stock losses, damages, discrepancies and operational costs.
- Maintain warehouse organisation, safety and compliance standards.
- Coordinate logistics, courier collections and deliveries.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and productivity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years' warehouse management experience, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.

Proven experience managing warehouse teams and high-volume inventory operations.

Knowledge of lighting, electrical and solar products is essential.

Strong inventory management, stock control and reconciliation skills.

Experience working with inventory management, POS or ERP systems.

Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple operational priorities.

High levels of accountability, integrity and attention to detail.
