We are a logistics company seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Controller to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who
thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of both
debtors and creditors functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Full management of the debtors’ function, including invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and credit
control
Full management of the creditors function, including supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, and payment
preparation
Monitor and manage debtors’ days, ensuring timely collections and payments
Resolve account queries and discrepancies efficiently
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
Assist with month-end processes, reporting, and audits
Liaise with operations teams to ensure accurate billing and cost allocation

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience in an Accounts Controller/Bookkeeping role
Strong experience in both debtors and creditors is essential
Proficient in accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Pastel, or similar) and MS Office
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Own transport

Advantageous:

Experience in a logistics, warehousing, or transport environment
Understanding of high-volume invoicing and cost tracking
Accounting/Bookkeeping qualification
