An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Catering Manager in the Midlands region.
The role requires overseeing meal service in a clinical or healthcare setting, with responsibilities including staff supervision, scheduling, training, stock control, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Candidates should have experience in catering management within a hospital or clinical environment, a strong understanding of therapeutic diets and patient meal requirements, and the ability to meet strict service deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work under pressure, including weekends and public holidays, are essential.
A background in HACCP or food safety training is advantageous.
