Ideal Candidate Profile
Language: Afrikaans.
Education: Matric (essential).
Driver’s License: Essential (vehicle not required, but must hold a valid license for errands such as bank deposits).
Personality & Attributes
Sales-driven and customer-focused, as walk-in sales are the primary focus. Warm, welcoming, and able to build lasting client relationships. Creative, proactive, and eager to learn and grow. Strong administrative ability, detail-oriented, neat, and organised.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will handle frontline sales for walk-in customers (light business machinery such as heat presses, ribbon printers, vacuum forming machines, etc.).
You will provide reception and administrative support for the branch.
Following up on sales leads, preparing quotes, and processing orders via branch and quoting systems will form part of your role.
You will manage stock, including ordering, replenishment, stock takes, and ensuring correct levels for both branch and client orders. Overseeing showroom upkeep and managing courier bookings will also be part of your daily tasks.
You will run daily reports and assist the Branch Manager with appointments and bookings.
Managing social media advertising is required, including keeping the Facebook page active and engaging, with Canva/Illustrator design skills being advantageous.
You will also support marketing and promotional activities, maintain a tidy and organised workspace, attend internal training, and expand knowledge through company-provided courses.
Key Requirements
You must have strong administrative skills with some technical aptitude, which will be advantageous.
A customer-centric approach with a strong sales personality is essential.
You must be enthusiastic, willing to go the extra mile, and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
