CCTV TECHNICIAN – TTK SURVEILLANCE
Location: Gauteng / Johannesburg
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Position

TTK Surveillance is looking for a skilled and reliable CCTV & Access Control Technician to join our growing technical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of CCTV and related security systems at various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure IP and analogue CCTV systems.
Install and terminate network and CCTV cabling.
Configure DVRs, NVRs, cameras and network switches.
Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, recording systems and network connectivity.
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
Diagnose and repair faulty CCTV equipment.
Configure remote viewing and mobile applications.
Conduct system testing and commissioning.
Complete installation and service work neatly and professionally.
Complete job cards, reports and required documentation.
Communicate professionally with clients and provide feedback on completed work.
Follow all company health, safety and security procedures.
Travel to different client sites when required.
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience as a CCTV Technician.
Good knowledge of IP CCTV systems.
Experience with DVRs and NVRs.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Experience with network switches, routers and basic network troubleshooting.
Ability to fault find, repair & install Access Control Equipment
Ability to terminate network and CCTV cables.
Ability to fault-find independently.
Valid driver's licence.
Clear criminal record.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
