Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef, located in Cape Town. The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing daily meals, ensuring the quality and presentation of food, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Additional tasks include ordering supplies, overseeing food storage, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Chef will also develop new recipes and menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients and customer preferences.
Qualifications
Culinary skills, including knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Experience in kitchen management, including staff management and inventory control
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
Creativity in developing new recipes and menus
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Working Hours
Day shift :06:30 -15:30
Night shift: 15:00-23:00
